The gallery was established in November 2020 by its founder and Director Claas Reiss with the aim of developing a high quality bricks-and-mortar gallery programme dedicated to ‘new voices’ in international contemporary painting in a primary market capacity.
The 1,250sqf gallery space is in an accessible and central location near Euston in London and occupies the ground floor and lower level of a retail unit in the Regent’s Park Estate, an area of brutalist style, post-war high rise council blocks.
Claas Reiss is also the initiator of ‘Projektraum London’, an exhibition space situated on the lower level of the gallery, independent from the gallery’s programme in an informal setting while benefitting from the infrastructure of a commercial gallery.
