Imura art gallery first opend its door in Kyoto, Japan in 1990 as the contemporary art space in the city. Kyoto in famous for tourism and for over 1200 years, the city has been a centre of Japanese culture introducing a wide range of art works, traditional to contemporary. Situated in such an attractive city, for over twenty years, our art gallery has gained reputation as a contemporary art gallery by representing and exhibiting some of the most interesting art works which is somewhere following the traditional technique, both on the international and national stage. We have introduced some young and emerging artists on the scene and also some experienced artists. Some of the artists we represent have also been very active global art scene.
