The “SGC Art Collection” is born from the collaboration between contemporary artists and the pure gold craft makers, SGC. For the third exhibition at ACK, Japanese painter Niwa Yuta will present a golden installation at Komyo-in Zen Temple, which will include a gilt folding screen based on the motif of Susanoo-no-Mikoto (the god of the sea and storms in Japanese mythology) and his conquest of Yamata no Orochi, the eight-headed serpent.
