RAIJIN
Born and raised in Kyoto, influenced by contemporary music, noise, and German rock. Crossing over genres, their play-style creates grooves on the dance floor, with techno to house as the core, while also exploring various styles such as Ambient, Reggae, and Raggae jungle as the occasion demands. They expand their activities through a various venues, from underground events to galleries and restaurants.
Tatsuya Shimada (night cruising)
The event and music label, night cruising, is based in Kyoto, since 2006.
They have invited numerous domestic and international artists, organizing events in various venues such as clubs, cafes, temples, churches, and concert halls.
Their many organized events, including Japan tours for foreign artists, taken place in various places throughout Japan. The label continues to release works by local artists and Europeans.
They also curate playlists for radio programs and reception events.
